Had another 71 mile day today! Ridgeland was a pretty community to bike through, we enjoyed all the pink flowered trees! We are still on the Natchez Trace so not many services along the way. We finally reached Port Gibson and stayed at a lovely bed and breakfast there. The proprietor, Scott, grew up in Minnetonka. He offered to take us into town to grab a bite to eat at the Royal Lounge and Bistro. The food was amazing, my dad enjoyed a burger and I enjoyed shrimp + potatoes. It was fun talking with Scott about familiar places back home and about the B&B industry and the history of Port Gibson. Oh, also, I've been looovving all the tropical plants down south!
